The Forrest City Police Department is located at 225 N. Rosser, directly in front of City Hall in downtown Forrest City. It has been in its current location since March, 1993.

Forrest City's new police chief, John Farmer, took over leadership of the department on January 1, 2008. He was sworn in by Judge Steve Routon during a  welcome reception held in his honor on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the Forrest City Civic Center.

Forrest City Police Department Mission Statement The primary goal of the Police Department is protection of life and property, prevention of crime and apprehension of criminal perpetrators. The Department strives to provide the best possible police service to residents of Forrest City and to those who work, travel and shop here.
