Code Enforcement & Safety
The function of the office of Code Enforcement is to enhance and protect the health, safety, and well being of residents, property owners, and businesses in the City of Forrest City.
The department accomplishes its mission through inspections of all new construction as well as remodels. All construction is required to have permits for building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and gas inspections.Some cases may also warrent the condemning of nuisance structures and removing nonworking vehicles.
